That’s an impressive collection of miniature daffies you breed and grow, you certainly know how to grow these little treasures.
Like you I am firmly hooked on these miniatures, especially the cyclamineus section and the species, although your collection is much bigger than mine but then again, beside the daffies, I also grow and manage a large selection of rare and unsual bulbs.
Anyway it’s good to see that the Southern Hemisphere is well represented on the internet and we all enjoying your very beautiful and interesting pictures, and looking forward to more treasures to come.
There are few plants more fascinating than breeding miniature daffies, it makes a delightful and most interesting hobby.
How long have you been breeding the miniatures, do you have any favourites?

Lesley, I would love to come to the Trillium weekend and reacquaint with old friends again in the deep south, unfortunately apart from the expense, we will be very busy in the nursery with customers needing attention.
Perhaps the National Daffodil Conference in Dunedin next year?
Nothing like South Island hospitality and freshly baked scones, with butter and homemade jam.

I do too Maggi, and dodgy-looking describes them well. I was in there somewhere myself but mercifully, can't see me. A few are no longer with us, at least one has gone to live in Australia and anyone there who has dark or blonde hair is now grey while many of the men are totally or partially bald. Oh the passing of the years.....
