Unknown Commelinaceae

Hello plant experts,

at a German garden forum we are still looking for a name for a Commelinaceae with spotted leaves.

Could you have a look at the pic in the link and maybe someone has an idea?

Tinantia pringlei has been already flowering for two months ; it's a nice shade lover plant  :D
Nicole, Sud Est France,  altitude 110 m    Zone 8

I've never heard about that genus but it seems like it's worth growing this plant.
