which ( maybe edible ) plant is this ?
« on: August 18, 2011, 03:49:57 PM »
Knows maybe anybody this plant ?

It is around 1,35 m high ...the diameter of the flowers is 2,5 cm

We suppose this seed was in our bird food ( the plant comes up near this place ) ...our first Idea was it is a sunflower -but now when we registered this small flower   ...no sunflower !

I'm shure anybody will know this plant !

Thank you
Hans

So, a plant which is both edible and can be used to extract a jute like fibre.... useful indeed.

Doesn't take too long for the Forumists to find you an answer, does it?  ;) :)
