I do a short 1/2 page newsletter for our local Iris Society each month - this month I am scratching my head as to what to put in it as there is nothing Iridacea in flower here. I try to make it educational for our members. There are a some stunning photos that I might ask permission to use with due acknowledgement of course. Any ideas??

So that I can fit a few photos on the page and it is only sent via an attachment to the limited membership only small files are fine - less than 200. If the Australian Iris Society yearbook editor wants to reprint some of my pages I might need larger files.
Better find out when their cutoff date is.
Thanks Roland

Pat and I both received some seed of this species from Roland (Bulborum) for which I'm most grateful - this is not one which is widely grown or seen in these parts. I had received some plants from another friend (Robyn R) and this one has just been in flower
and a few days ago this one from AGS Seedex 2009 came into flower!
Slowly we'll get these established in our gardens to increase the diversity!
cheers
