What on earth??
« on: December 06, 2019, 07:15:28 PM »
We found this object in Cardiff's Roath Park, which has a lot of rare woody plants. I thought it was a well-chewed tennis ball at first!
On closer inspection, it has an obvious scar where it was attached to a plant stalk. Any IDeas? It has a sort-of-familiar scent, quite resinous.
I guessed maybe some sort of conifer fruit, or maybe a magnolia.
