I would like to show you today the plant which is very rare growing plant in our mountains.
Eranthis sibirica is the plant with height up to 10cm, with very big flower 5cm in diameter. the color is alpine white or light pink.
It is growing in Siberia and Mongolia. In Europe it is growing in the end of February together with Galanthus nivalis. It is cultivates without the problem.
Next plant is Eranthis sp. from North Korea. I think it is Eranthis stellata.
I didn't see it flowering yet. the height of the plant is 15cm, very often you can find plants with 2 floors of leaves.

The answer on your often questions. Eranthis stellata and Eranthis sibirica is growing in the garden without a problem. In the nature they are growing together with Cypripedium calceolus and Cypripedium macranthom, just in more wet places. That is why the person who has growing Cypripedium, will have Eranthis growing too.
We are able to receive the orders for Eranthis by the end of July, in August Eranthis starts having the rootes.
