Davey I'll happy to leave it with you but at least one Forumist has it or access to it as he sent me some seed maybe 18 months ago, not sure now, but a long time. To my shame I can't remember who it was. I usually have a good note of such things.It hasn't germinated yet - I sowed it among the surface roots of an alder tree but I'm wondering if among willow roots would be a better bet. A nurserywoman called Joan McLachlan, no longer with us unfortunately, in Timaru, used to cut the willowroot in peat-like blocks from a nearby riverbank and swore by willowroot, (chopped) for many plants such as her dwarf rhodos, cassiopes and the like.Someone on the Forum a while back mentioned have the Lathraea in bloom, the first time he'd seen it since he'd sown it, some few years previously.

I've had this request :Can you put me in touch with anyone who can supply plants or seeds of Toothwort/Lathraea? I have several willows growing in a moist patch. many thanks, Jane BeattieCan anyone help?
