2012 seems for me a good year for my Eucrosia plants  ;D
After waiting some years for flowers are now two open ....

Before some years I have received from a nice person bulbs of a Eucrosia cross - made from Harry Hay ....now I have the first flowers :

I find flowers which send out such long anthers  etc. quite interesting....  I always wonder how they can manage to do that!

All my 100 Eucrosia mirabilis seedlings died last winter at +0ºC
maybe other members have other experience

I am with you Pat I have never heard of this before. Hans is that one of its leaves that is showing in your picture, just wandered what the foliage looks like. Really nice plant.
