Good place to get Paeonia species?
« on: October 28, 2007, 01:08:57 PM »
Does anyone know a good place to buy European/Asia-Minor Paeonias, not necessarily flowering size. But they should be the wild genotype (f.i. grown from wild-collected seed), and should come with information on collection locality? Price is of less importance.

Cheers, Hans

I suggest this: Will McLewin - Phedar Nursery, Bunkers Hill, Romiley, Stockport, SK6 3DS, England . Tel. +44 161-430-3772.  for plants

The Archibalds sell seed collected by Willl, too, or have done in the past.

Thanks for the valuable suggestions. I just ordered wild collected seeds of P. officinalis and P. cf Stevaniana at Phedar, before they run out of stock for this year.

Hans, I'm very much interested in your offer! I'll PM you today.

Cheers, HAns
