Strange bee orchid
« on: December 05, 2012, 04:39:42 PM »
Just looking through a few photos from this summer and came across this oddity.  Question is, is it a recognised "form" or is just deformed?  Slugs or the weather perhaps to blame.  Will be interesting to see if it reappears next year.  Not that I'm wishing my life away but roll on next summer!

O.K. Dave but you must see hundreds of bee orchids on your annual travels, have you ever seen a hairy legged one before?
