Hand pollination of Arisaema
« on: December 09, 2006, 04:42:28 PM »
Several people have mentioned that their Arisaemas are not setting seed.  I had the same problem with A. candidissimum.  I got this answer from someone on the Gardenweb Aroids forum:  http://forums.gardenweb.com/forums/load/aroid/msg0616512432642.html?4#  I tried this last summer on my plants, and got 100+ seeds, which are presently germinating well.

For germinating Arisaema, this is a good article:  http://www.aroid.org/horticulture/aseedg.html
