Here is an update.  Travel Britain is no more.  The new company is Garden Tours.  The telephone number for Travel Britain is not correct for Garden Tours, and the number for the latter is +31 880 071 300 (N. B., in UK + = 00).  The "go to" guy at Garden Tours is Ger Kleingeld MD.  His email address is Ger@gardentours.nl and he will respond to Gary if you speak to him in English.  The web site is http://www.gardentours.nl.  However it is circa 2012 and the 2013 edition is a work in progress.  Also, the web site is in Dutch, but if you view the page using the Google Chrome browser, the page can be translated into English.  Pardon me if this is more than you wanted to know!

Dear Alan_b--thanks for the elucidation.  I will check out the article in the New Plantsman when I go to the Miami University library on Monday.  My wife, Marge, has been collecting snowdrops for 25 years and has a nice cultivar collection.  Over the past 12 years she has kept records on her snowdrop transplantings.  Through her systematic experimentation she has observed that her G. nivalis are increasing at an even greater rate than the Fibonacci sequence.  Her snowdrops are planted in woodsy soil over limestone rock and she transplants 3,000 bulbs per year.
