Cattleya
« on: April 12, 2013, 12:41:11 PM »
hello everyone !

i see there is not much written about Cattleyas on this forum, so maybe this is a start :)
any informations about them are very welcome!

i found this site that provides some basic informations about care:
https://www.orchidweb.com/cattleyacare.html

if you recomend any other sites, please do so :)
i was also wondering where can i order them online? I didn't find any good web site except in America but shipping costs are very high.. about 100$. just too much
does anyone know a good website within EU?

regards

Hallo Gregor,
no need to order in America, there are a lot of good suppliers in the EU:
http://www.orchideen-wichmann.de/
http://www.schwerter-orchideenzucht.de/
http://www.elsner-orchideen.de/englisch/start.htm
http://www.nardottoecapello.it/
I'm shure that there are also nurseries in the UK where you can buy Cattleay. Maybe someone else will post some.
Best regards - Ulrich

Both are good. Wubben has the bigger assortment.

Hallo Gregor,
I have ordered several times from Wichmann and Schwerter and can recommend both. Wichmann is not far away from my home so I sometimes can go there and choose the best.
