Tulipa urumiensis today. Another one that Kurt Vickery tells me is of Dutch origin.

Out here Tulipa heweri provides a good display and Tulipa greigii 'Goldenes Prague' opens up almost without a stalk !

May I suggest a visit by Tulip lovers to the pages of Plantes Passion, where you wll see some fantastic photos of tulips, in solitary splendour and en masse  from several French Forumists  who are well known here.... - it wouldn't hurt to check out the Narcissus page either, to see large groups of Narcissus dubius!  8) 8)
