Bulbs in the Greenhouse Feb 2013
« on: February 06, 2013, 12:09:36 PM »
I would like assistance in naming/ confirming the name of two bulbs currently in flower.

Is this Hyacinthella sartensis?

Can you name this tulip from Kazakhstan

Thanks Maggi - I think.  A picture would help a lot more.  Never took Latin at school and find these descriptions totally confusing.

You and millions of others -it's   a piece of nonsense that  am pleased to learn is no longer necessary and English descriptions are adequate.

Nonsense Art, if I blurted Carpe Cioccolatam! she'd be on her feet in a flash.

Look Art, here is my Hyacinthella siirtensis of 2011. It is always the first of my Hyacinthellas that bloom.

It is most attractive- fine colour and early flowering is good.
