It was found at the edge of an olive grove on a hill outside Malaga and there was a farmhouse close by.
There was no evidence of a 'flower garden' and all the other poppies were distinctly of the 'wild' variety.
It was possibly the prettiest poppy I have ever seen. shame there was no ripe seed.

Morning. It looks to me like an odd (pink) coloured
Papaver rupifragum. Flora Iberica has it recorded from Cadiz province next door to Malaga so its not out of the realm of possibility it is there. If you can make out hairy margins and on the veins on your original image then it is probably just a colour mutation.
