Can't believe that those forumists managed to be photographed beside a stand of lilies, though 

The crowds around the snowdrop stands made it too difficult to stand around there; the lillies weren't attracting so much attention.

80 black labels for my Mum , Galanthus 'Green Arrow' and 'Jade' which my cousin Cheryl had asked me to grab  for her if i saw them .

I bought the golden form of cow parsley from Avon and a Dierama 'Tiny Bells' from some one else . So i didnt buy any snowdrops for me !!!!

Emma - as someone fascinated by umbellifers, do you have a picture of the golden cow parsley? This is new to me. We have plenty of native cow parsley in the garden (a beautiful weed), and the black leaved 'Ravenswing' (an even more beautiful weed), but a golden version... ?

Poor Alan was sure his snowdrops would be past their best & then he puts on an amazing display & gets a GOLD.........

The RHS wouldn't be the same without such committed plants people.

Recently the RHS have dumbed-down 'The Garden' magazine, reduced the number of London shows, made a feeble attempt to rebrand the February show as 'Design' and  sold off one of their Westminster halls.  I wonder quite where they think they are going and who they are trying to appeal to?

Many thanks Emma - I wonder how I've missed this over the past couple of years. I'm not sure I like the idea of an 'orange' Anthriscus; too much like going down the Heuchera road. But anyway umbels are far more difficult to hybridise.
