Ornithogalum season is starting, and again i ask my self why this genus is not popular...is it because the white flowers are facing up instead of down?...Ornithogalum sigmoideum from Turkey is an excellent pot plant as it makes large clumps of sessile flower spikes which last for about 3 weeks.

I agree with you Oron, but I don't really like 'giant' Ornithogalum. I prefer the small ones, like yours or this ones O. lanceolatum and O. neurostegium
They also to grow in winter here; this picture is from Lebanon and plants in nature are sometimes more vigorous.
