'Bressingham Bonus' was introduced into the Seattle area several years ago (from England) and thrives in many of our gardens. As it readily hybridizes with other dactylorhizas, I have to vegetatively propagate it to make sure it stays true. Anthony remembers correctly, it is very vigorous and doubles or triples in number every year. I often send my extras to area nurseries.
While this won't help whoever is looking for it on your side of the pond, please know that the plant is by no means lost.
