"The Butcher"- Alan Newton had an enjoyable day at Rainham- though I think the journey home through torrential rain was not such fun  - here are his photos - beginning with the Farrer Medal winning plant.
It is a very smart pan full of Corydalis darwasica, shown by George Elder from Cardiff - his success on the day must have been ofcheer to him after a long trip!

This one is a bit special- great colour as you can see- and plenty flowers, but what is different is that this Dionysia 'Claire' is the first  one Nigel Fuller has named of his raising.

Three of Nigel Fuller's Dionysias - 'Andrew',  'Clare' and 03120-21

Nigel doesn't only show Dionysias- here is his Primula allionii 'Tamara'

a flood of flowers, each more beautiful than the last. The Dionysia are outstanding, such a patience and care to get so sized plants
