some smaller woody species flowering
« on: June 12, 2013, 10:07:12 AM »
Here are some flowering shrubs, just in flower

1. + 2. Embothrium coccineum - alpine form from the mountains above Aguas Calientes, Chile
3. + 4. Rosa foetida - collected as a cutting in Turkey (where it was intruduced)
5. Fremontodendron californicum

Only the rose is hardy here ( the Embothrium perhaps)
