Cypripedium fargesii

I have just recieved 2 Cypripedium fargesii and was wondering what compost mix to use for them, as i know spotted leaved Cypripediums need some care.

Hi, good luck with your new "babies".... doesn't Anthony mention C. fargesii i n th list of plants he grows with his Cyp. mix in another thread? Try a search.....

Many of these spotted vars live in areas where there is ground water but no rain while they are in leaf. I grow mine in the alpine house and use a wick of capillary matting through the drainage hole into a trough of water.
