The tubers I discovered in growth in a pot in the garden on September 20th are very advanced now
September 20th
October 8th
November 29th and the first flower is almost open but what is it? This must be a purchase from med_orchids or someone else.

I'd say it's a Neotinea (Orchis) tridentata, but it's early days as yet.
What will be interesting is if it does the same next year, or if it reverts to "normal" which would then back up my theory that plants coming from the med get a shock to the system when they arrive in this country that starts them into early growth, which is why I started this thread.

Looking at my ebay account I see I did buy O. lactea but there isn't a pot labelled as it. Two photos taken in todays sunshine

Just went to the pantry and smelled the cloves jar while looking at the pics. We need an SRGC scratch and sniff card for all these flower pics. Photo of "****" scratch panel 23.  ;D
