I'm with Neil, if I found this in one of my pots I'd think gymnadenia!Stevep.s. Maggie, ponerorchis tubers are about the size of a peanut and a similar shape, but very very hairy.
I think I looked at those and wondered what they would come up like. Let us know what happens......
Back in reply 23 I showed a photo of tubers I had in a pot, in the garden, that were very advanced. Five weeks on they have flower spikes showing at the centre of the leaves. I'm thinking these are possibly tubers I got from med orchids, potted and forgot to label.What European orchid flowers in the autumn?
