Can you say me, how frost hardy is G.reginae-olgae?

I have never had problems with hardiness in the garden,lowest I have been is -9c two years ago but never get flowers as they are eaten off by slugs as soon as they start to emerge.

Mark, I have seen better green marked plants of autumn galanthus in my life.
But often the autumns are not stable.

Not even hardy bulbs will survive -20^oC in a pot.

I have tried to grow reginae-olgae in pots.  Unlike the ones grown in the ground, mine never flower.  But these are large outdoor pots, not those kept in a greenhouse or bulb frame.  And the temperatures here rarely fall much below zero and almost never much below -8°C.

Locally, the Cambridge Botanic Garden exhibits pot-grown reginae-olgae in their glasshouse each year (although they lost the "Cambridge" cultivar).

I have a clay pot labelled Galanthis corcyrensis, which I got from Bill Dijk. This, its third season with me, yielded only leaves. I have had two flowers each of the previous years.

Normally G r-o starts with leaves and Gp starts without leaves.
Normally, but not always.

green lines, tips, blotches on the outer segments of autumn snowdrops are real often a problem.

Here is a Gp without any green marks. Also the apical mark is in absence.

Very pretty indeed.  Do you find these pale beauties as robust as their coloured relatives?
