« on: October 19, 2013, 05:45:22 PM »
We were in St Andrews today for lunch helping to celebrate our Honorary president Bette Ivey's  80th  birthday which was a few days ago, I am going to post a picture of the birthday cake which features a Golf buggy at a strange angle now about a month ago   Bette was at another birthday and decided to get a lift to the part on a Golf Buggy the driver overturned the buggy and Bette got a broken shoulder now she assures me that no alcohol had been consumed well do we believe that?? anyway a super lunch for our very special friend,  cheers Ian the Christie kind

How wonderful to see Bette looking her old self again after her frightening accident - and able to  enjoy that super cake for her birthday -our Hon. President and the SRGC, both celebrating their 80th Year - health and happiness to them both!!  8) :-* :-*

Best of all wishes Bette. I don't see any point in falling off a golf buggy unless you really are well trollied ;D
