I am delighted to report that the Fritillaria Group website has been completely overhauled and re-designed to give it a fresh new look and make it more user-friendly. In particular, there are now proper photo galleries for all the images where you can browse thumbnails which can be clicked on to see a larger image presented in a 'Lightbox' style. Please do visit the new site (which retains the same web address as the old site: www.fritillaria.org.ukand see what you think.

The site is still being developed, with lots more still to add, particularly text to go with many of the images; we also plan to put online all the back issues of our Journal (issues older than 2 years). This will take some time, but meanwhile I hope that you will all enjoy the new look and find the improved interface more useful.

Meetings of the fritillaria group

The next meeting is on Sunday 26 October 2014

Does anyone still have a copy of this years seed list still stored on their computer? I have the addendum still ,but must have deleted the main list ,so therefore can not relate numbers to names,.............................thanks

The Fritillaria Group has been updating its website which always deserves a visit.

And now the Group has a new forum devoted to all things Fritillaria   The forum is accessible from any page on the website (www.fritillaria.org.uk)  via the navigation menu at the top of each page.

Anyone can read it, but if you want to make posts you will need to register first – again, this is open to anyone, not just Fritillaria Group members.

From the info on their membership page, Mel, it seems the Frit Group expect a membership application to be sent by post to Bob Charman and  paid by cheque.

It may be that Paul Cumbleton will be able to give a bit more info on this because as it stands, membership is heavily biased towards those in the UK. I'll ask him.

Hi Mel,
It's great that you want to join the Fritillaria Group!  Unfortunately we are not able to take online payments. The easiest way for overseas subscribers to pay is to obtain a £10 note and enclose this with your completed application form. Sorry we don't have other options.

Hi Paul and Maggie sorry did not reply sooner have just worked out how to read my messages, I thought I had no replies,lol. But am getting used to the forum better, and I had a lovely email from Ron Mudd on facebook, who very kindly offered to pay the sub for me and I pay him back via paypal, which is all done, so I am a member, hurray.  And thank you so much to Ron, he is fantastic.
