Lucky for you I cannot get down to help - I don't think my hiding under the stand during a thunder storm would be of much benefit.  :-X

Meanwhile at the show ground Rob finishes the front kick board which  has been extended outward by 18 inches to give more room  for plants. Ian C  arrives with his van load of goodies and with Al Elliot and Peggy Anderson  puts  the first plant - Celmlsia  semicordata - onto the stand. We have made Ian's excellent  Celmisias the focal point on  the rock ridge this year. We are also well on with one side with a variety of orchids, anemones,  ferns, shrubs etc.

Good progress has indeed been  made. One side finished off this morning  so we could start putting small semp rosettes  into rock cracks then set up and plant the other side which is for sun loving plants. Part of the lower level  now has its mecs, hostas and large primulas. Finally a snap of the Tuesday team on a tea break

The club stand is indeed finished- tomorrow  others will add black  material round the woodwork and do a final tidy ready for judging.
