Wow, I am speechless!
And that does not happy often. I once got my jaw dislocated. It did not keep me quiet. This summer I totally lost my voice. It did not stop me from "talking".
But now, what to say? The January issue is absolutely stunning! I have many times thought that I will ask my library to make copies of all IRGs that has been published this far. They have a very nice full color printer. I think now it is really time to do it. First thing Monday morning, I promise. It will keep them busy for a while and also give them good statistics, that the villagers are in need of the library and the printer.
I am not very interested in Eranthis; I mostly see them as a weed. But who can resist them after this?
In Swedish they are called "winter eluder".

Tremendous article Wim! Just when you start getting to grips with snowdrops, there is another winter flower to tax your collecting instinct. I think the SRGC should consider selecting material from the IRG and publishing it in book form at some stage, and this would make a very fine article to include.

That was a fantastic article Wim. Your knowledge of these delightful little plants is a real eye-opener to me. Apart from E. hyemalis which I grow, and some notes on the Forum about other species, my own experience is nothing at all, so your notes and pictures showed me a whole new world. With so many newish cultivars and forms, I can imagine that winter aconite mania may even in time surpass the galanthus mania from which so many Forumists suffer!

OK, here is my report. My promise is completed. I now have a nice magazine of each issue of IRG. From now on I will have the new issue printed as soon as it is released.

Once again, thank you Wim for your article that made me finally have them all printed. ( And of course thank you Britt Svensson at our fantastic library. The cost? As importing an alpine book from UK. Absolutely worth it!)

That has worked out well,  Susann  - I know some have printed out all of the Bulb Logs too - more than ten years' worth!

Susann - what a great idea and after my comments above I shall have to do the same. It will be particularly exciting because I haven't looked back through the earlier IRG's before I joined the SRGC. Now I await your observations on pulsatillas!
