Such neat display (pic 1).
I also love that Asarum. I had one a couple years back, I thought it was hardy enough for my closed balcony but one day I found it frozen :(

I had the same experience with Asarum maximum and A.splendens.
They did quite well for many years in the open garden with some
winter protection, but a winter which started quite mild and ended
with heavy frost destroyed these plants. Luckily I had some spare
specimen in the Alpine House and since this time I cultivate them 
inside.

We have unusual warm and sunny weather which results
in opulent flowering in the house.
Townsendia condensata Alberta Form has an extremely fasciated flower
The Viola grows in the Iran beside Dionysia khatamii

Rudi, what a nice violet species. It might be Viola spathulata.  (pachyrhiza)
Does it come via Wallendorf?

Wonderful plants, all of them.  It was nice to see the Townsendia condensata in bloom, it's such a different townsendia.  I specially liked your Lewisia tweedyi 'rosea'.  This lived in my garden for a number of years before finally perishing in an open, cold, wet winter.  Yours is flowering so beautifully.

Dear friends, thank you for your positive comments, I got the Viola some years ago from Chemnitz
(and possibly via Wallendorf) but the plant is still smaller than the Viola spathulata I have.
