Wall of tufa bricks
« on: April 08, 2014, 03:30:37 PM »
A few years ago I saw on a website, an alpine house with a wall made of tufa stone (bricks). It looked fantastic. I think it was from the Czech Republic, but are not quite sure. Is there anyone who could be kind to help me with a link or a picture?  :)

Probably not the garden you are thinking of, but the RHS garden at Wisley has an alpine house with a tufa clad wall: http://www.srgc.net/forum/index.php?topic=11356.msg299885#msg299885

Thank you both for the links :-) Many great "tufa mountain". But it is not quite what I'm looking for. I am looking for a wall built of tufa bricks, such as in the link below.

I don't remember seeing tufa in that form at all. Very unusual - but the process would be the same as for using the tufa boulders, I would think  :-\
