Taxonomy- Plant Registration links etc
« on: June 15, 2014, 12:27:34 PM »
At various times across the forum the subject of the Registration of Plant ( cultivar) names has cropped up -  on this page you will find a list of the registrars for a range of plants from ICRAS : International Cultivar Registration Authorities  - this is part of the ISHS  site ( the Institute for Horticultural Science)

Hortax, formed in 1988, is a small committee of plant taxonomists and horticulturists with a professional interest in the classification and nomenclature of cultivated plants. The Hortax site  may also  be helpful for  taxonomic questions.
