Sudden death of Jim Watson - Ayr Group
« on: June 15, 2014, 06:23:18 PM »
Very sad news has been received from the SRGC Ayrshire Group

Jim Watson of Ayr died suddenly on Thursday night, 12th June, at Ayr Hospital.  Jim and his wife Pat have been active in the Ayrshire Group and  great  supporters of the SRGC for many years.

We send our sincere condolences to Pat and all their family at this sad and difficult time.

A service of thanksgiving for Jim's life will be held at St Columba's Church, Midton Road,  Carrick, Ayr  KA7 2SE  on Friday 20th  June, at 1.30pm to which all friends are respectfully invited.

It would be appreciated if local members could spread the word about the time of the memorial service.

Directions : The church is close to the heart of Ayr, at the junction of Carrick Park and Midton Road.       http://www.ayrstcolumba.co.uk/ayr-st-columba-map.html
