well it's like anything from a new snowdrop to a new house on a new desireable development - first come first served - but the list contains many lovely snowdrops that will make a very exciting collection

I noticed a few of the new ones are from France.  Are there Galanthophiles
there also, or do English ones pop over for the weekend and search old
churchyards?

It's not for me to say whether or not the French can be afflicted with the white fever, Diane... but with the Channel Tunnel... I wouldn't be surprised if the English addicts weren't doing exactly that! It'll give them something to do at this time of year when it isn't really weather for hunting for old farmhouses to restore!!

The main English growers head over to France post Galas and search. There is one English guy resident there - Mark Brown

John,but is'nt that true of all snowdrops.Some are a bit more special than others but even the lowliest are are fantastic when seen in a group.

Coming out of my normal lurking mode to ask if anbody knows how much Monksilver Nursery charges for post and packaging ? I have a small but steadily growing number of snowdrops and have been picking up a lot of really useful information from this forum

that`s not much for sending costs(saves money for bulbs).it`s a pity sending overseas is much,much more(I presume,with others that is)

Yes you are right about a limited cheque
"If your total is £45, sign and date your cheque, make it payable to Monksilver Nursery.  Don not write any numbers or words in the amount line or box.  Instead between the vertical lines in the centre of the cheque write 'not to exceed £45.00)"
