600th Bulb Log now online 9/07/14
« on: July 09, 2014, 01:45:13 PM »
Can you believe it? Ian Young 's 600th Bulb log is now loaded to the SRGC site - that's one every single  week since the first in January 2003.
I've offered a celebratory cake but fire regulations mean  that we couldn't light 600 candles, even if we'd been able to afford them.  ::) :P

Don't want to make too much fuss in case he asks for time off for good behaviour....... ;)

Congratulations Ian - I know exactly how much effort you've put in on this project and I know it is appreciated!

Congratulations, Ian and many, many thanks for all your work.  I use it all the time and have now downloaded it onto my Tablet so I can take it into the garden to identify things.

Looking forward to the next 600.  Maybe you can have a cake for the 1000th!

Well done Ian I love your bulb log.

The information gleaned from it is unavailable elsewhere.

Very inspiring.

It was a Google bulb search that first led me to Ian's excellent bulb log, and from there to this forum and subsequently SRGC membership. So it's a great recruiting tool as well as a wonderfully useful resource. Thank you.

Congratulations and many, many thanks.
Your bulb log is just a treasure trove and has been something I look forward to on every Wednesday morning.  I just hope this will continue for many more years.

Wonderful, wonderful work Ian … you must surely know how greatly your efforts are appreciated, both here in the UK and far, far beyond. Many thanks from us all.
