I think the lady virtually in the centre of David's first picture is Debbie Horsman who was the owner of one of the delightful gardens we visited that afternoon.

Its the green top David  ;D

For most of my adult life I was a 10 stone / 140 pounds / 63.5kg

This rose to 12 stone / 168 pounds / 76kg in my late 30s

Steroids have put me up to 15 stone / 210 pounds / 95 kg  :'( :'(

I asked the hormone specialist at the hospital about it. She said "your body wants to be that weight". I asked if I could cut down on the steroid and she said no so I did it anyway  :o :o

Mark,  the lady in the centre of David's photo is Viv, the other garden owner not Debby.  Our gardens on SRGC.  Wow!

Had a great morning at the RHS London Snowdrop & Spud show! Managed to take a few shots:

1, The Avon Display which was excellent
2. Alan Street
3. Maxine from Avon with forumist Alan-b in  the background.

Recognised a number of comrades from the front of the queue at Myddelton but only Chasw and myself were wearing our SRGC badges with suitable pride  8)

That is good to know, Alan was really concerned about whether they would be able to keep enough back, looks like all his fears were for nothing.  Hope you got what you were after with your personal shopper's help ;D

Personal shopper left at home today, after the show it was a concert and shopping  ;D He hates classical music and his boredom threshold is way too short for shopping!

Alan had no worries, it was delightful particularly considering the weather.

A very sad notice from Avon Bulbs - but has Foxgrove Plants really met its demise or just ceased attending this show?
Almost in Scotland.

Lovely photos of RHS London.  That is so sad about Avon and it does not help that the show has been made later and later.  I have been going to this show for over 17 years and I cannot believe they are now making it all about spuds!  I wanted to go today but have such troubles in the garden I thought I should stay home.  Wish I had gone now if Avon are thinking of pulling out - won't see Maxine anymore :(  Did John Finch turn up?
