I don't know if the Scilla maderense seeds are fresh, but for other seeds that I bought this year, the quality was very good and the packets had quite a lot of seeds.

We saw it in bloom late last month at the Jardim Botanico da Madeira

I flowered mine too late this year to get seed; sorry. Plenty of seed if flowered early when the bees are still around here. If I start them late then inside and no bees and next to no seed, and the few pods get mildew usually. I will try and remember next year. Just a case of when you start watering again after summer.
