Emma Thick Glasshouse horticulturalist And Galanthophile, keeper of 2 snowdrop crushing French bulldogs. I have small hands , makes my snowdrops look big :D

You'll have spotted the big snowdrops ( - which may or may not be  lamps ?) in the picture of the shop window.....

I think I remember that there was a cake raffle last year too?    even as a bona fide piglet, I would feel terrible about eating that creation - even saving the top sugar flowers would not be enough - a crime to cut and eat it!

I had a great time at Shaftesbury meeting up with fellow SRGC members & people I've come to know over the years through this wonderful hobby.

Shaftesbury has a very friendly atmosphere with lots of hugging & shaking of hands on meeting & a genuine fondness for each other.

Even in the crush of the sales hall I saw lots of smiles & people saying sorry to each other.

It must have taken a lot of effort & many, many hours to arrange everything & I really appreciate it Emma, Pam & the helpers.

I expect it's last thing you want to think about, but pleased do think about doing it again next year.
