Great Pictures, fantastic plants!

While a bit higher in the mountains there is a lot of snow, in the garden a seedgrown Iris persica flowered for the first time, and one which already flowered in the past.

May apologies for being late in letting you know that the British Iris Society was holding a spring show today at Pembroke Lodge Richmond Park.
However, here are a couple of photos from Kit Strange  - soon to be the Speaker at the SRGC Dunblane Bulb Day - from Kew, of Iris being tended in preparation for that show .......
