Nice photograph Peter. Let me guess, camera on a tripod; a focal length of about 100mm, aperture f18? f22? Low ISO so shutter speed of about 1/2 second?

Not a bad guess - the camera was on a tripod. The EXIF data shows focal length 55mm, f11 @ 1/20th, 400 ISO (would normally be lower, but I forgot to change it!)

Kris, a late-blooming Iris narbutii? My Iris narbutii has faded already four weeks.

Today bloom here:
-Iris rosenbachiana 'Harangon'
-Iris nicolai
-Iris stenophylla ssp.allisonii

I am growing some galatica from wild seed.  I am afraid (6 seedlings) they are going to take many years to flower.
