Steve, this yellow Iris I also got from Frank Schmidt. I think Luc's opinion is correct. It is probably a slender shape of the Iris bucharica.

Two small species that came from Jan Jilek in 2013.
I'm not 100% certain of ID as both came as "sp." but I think the names are correct.
Both of these species have only been described in the last couple of years.
Sadly the first was not in flower on Valentine's Day!  ;)

The second is named in honour of a great plantsman.

The late Hans Höller, who was so respected and loved in this forum and others, is well remembered in this very beautiful Iris hoellerii.
Hans was a great plantsman and is much missed.
