February arrives in real style :D

These are a couple of plants from Graham Gough's garden and nursery at Marchants in E.Sussex. A seedling of G. plicatus that came up next to a clump of 'Augustus' but may have some influence of 'Gerard Parker'? And a rather nice and delicate G. gracilis.

Yes it's good isn't it Mark - Graham is quite pleased with it! He has another plant raised in the garden, 'Plummer', this time an elwesii but again with those long pedicels which give the flowers such charm. He has a very fine eye for plants which I remember when he worked with Elizabeth Strangman at Washfield too.

I am trying to build-up a little collection of snowdrops associated with people I have got to know - through this forum and/or by meeting them at snowdrop events.  Emma's contribution, by virtue of its vigour, is the best-established of these.  I haven't asked or persuaded everybody yet but if anybody has something of their own that they might like to contribute then I'm sure I can find a suitable swap to make a trade.  But not with the US, unfortunately Rick, because of restrictive legislation.
