I rarely see bees at this time of year but we do get some warm days. Two days last week were 9 and 10c so there could be bees about but I didn't see them.

The question has to be if all the Trym lookalikes can be named is my yellow tipped worth naming? I would have called it 'Goldfinch' but there is one already. Maybe 'Siskin' or 'Golden Oriole'
It seems every green-tipped gets a name, so why not your yellow tipped? Siskin is pretty.

...Siskin is pretty.

True, but (fun as it is to look ahead) probably best to wait and make sure it does the same thing next year.
Almost in Scotland.

Unfortunately, I´ve got only ordinary double seedlings to show.

At least, they are scented and rather regularly built.

If ordinary is Galanthus nivalis flore pleno then there is nothing ordinary about those snowdrops.  The mark on the inner petals is way too full to be a nivalis and you would not generally find such a neat arrangement of the petals either.
Almost in Scotland.

You´re perfectly right, this is from a bunch of seedlings from a deliberate cross between Merlin and a Greatorex-seedling. This was made in the hope for all-green inners. Here are two others.

It's a very bonny flower. I hate double flowers, except for when I like them, and I like this one.

Came home today and found a nice display of Snowdrops in a sunny garden.
Primrose Warburg, a lightly honey scented Godfrey Owen and a very green Percy Picton.
Orchids are like accessories, a woman can never have enough...

Thank You for Your kind comment, Harry! I don´t care for doubles, too, unless they don´t look like doubles and just have the advantage of flowering a longer time than the singles.

Today was a beautiful, sunny day here in the Netherlands. Again a few snowdrops in the garden caught my eye.

Picture 1: Galanthus elwesii "Mr. Blobby";
Picture 2: Galanthus "Aunt Agnes";
Picture 3: Galanthus elwesii "Chantry Green Twins";
Picture 4: Galanthus "Ivy Cottage Corporal";
Picture 5: Galanthus plicatus"Trymlet".
