It is our local AGS group (West Cheshire and the Wirral) 60th anniversary tonight so it might be a late night for us.
Farrer Medal plant Narcissus asturiensis from Eric Jarrett
I would like to have seen the other contenders. There were plenty of superb pots of bulbs which could have won, in our opinion.http://s703.photobucket.com/user/Owdboggy/slideshow/Caerleon%202015
For those of you who like to see more formal shots of the show plants, and I know some do not, I have added my photos from the show to the AGS discussion forum here:http://www.alpinegardensociety.net/discussion/atshows/South+Wales+Show+/19854/There were a lot of beautiful spring bulbs - snowdrops, crocuses and narcissus. I think my favourites were probably the pans of Narcissus cantabricus.
