What a curious thing! Having recently sown some Primula seed I never gave a thought to their structure. I'm inspired to put seeds under the microscope. Sowing sessions will now take much longer  ::)

I got so used to calling that stuff  "sticky-backed plastic" that I can no longer remember what the commercial name of it was..... no wait - was it 'Fablon' ?  ( Which  they couldn't  mention on the BBC because it was deemed advertising. )

You can still buy it out here, but then we're a few decades behind the rest of the country  ;) All the shelves in our kitchen are lined with it!! We're renting, it would NOT be my choice :-X

ANY seed is fascinating when looked under the microscope...and it takes me forever to sow my seeds  ;)
