After a cold and rainy weekend the sun found its way back into my garden and some new flowers have opened:
020 - First Crocus versicolor flowering in my lawn, after I have sown many seeds over the years.031 - Crocus neglectus, the new species from the vernus-group, found in Liguria/Italy009 - Crocus variegatus from Slovenia, formerly named Crocus reticulatus but received its old name back last year025 - Crocus heuffelianus collected in the Caucasus, looking like Carpathian Wonder, but with much stronger markings
Nice Crocis from all, here the first flower from my cross:Crocus scardicus x pelistericus
Thanks Kris and Luc.No Ruben, they don't need cover. They are extremely hardy here and even have survived the bad blackfrost in 2012.
