Latest  from Growild .....
"Now that we are well into autumn, we have been busy harvesting seeds and now have a wide range of seeds on offer in our Seed Store-  https://www.growildnursery.co.uk/store/c2/Seed_Catalogue.html     including ones which we have never offered before and some rarities that you will not be able to find anywhere else, such as Ajuga lupulina pictured above.
We still have some seeds that are late to ripen, including Begonias, and will be adding these later this year so be sure to keep an eye on our website.

We only offer the freshest, home-grown seed. All our seed has been collected from plants open pollinated in our nursery, which are grown in peat-free soil and without the use of chemicals.

You can buy as many packets as you want for the same flat shipping rate. Each order from our Seed Store comes with a free mystery packet of seeds.

Happy growing!
Lisa and Andrew "

From Growild:
"As summer is approaching, we will be closing our plant shop soon, but we wanted to let you know that we have added more plants to our 'Plants Just In' page.

Most are extremely limited in numbers so please hurry to order early to avoid disappointment. Last date for plant orders is this Sunday 14th June.Although plant sales are coming to an end for this season, we are now collecting fresh seeds and will be adding these throughout summer and autumn. These can be found in our 'Seeds Just In' page. For instance, we have just added some Corydalis siamense seed (photo below), a hardy species from Thailand."

News from Lisa and Andrew:
"OUR NEW PLANT CATALOGUE IS NOW ONLINE!
This year, you will still find a wide range of rare and unusual plants. We have good numbers of most plants but, as we grow everything from scratch ourselves, some plants are very limited in number so we recommend ordering early to avoid disappointment!
We continue to be able to sell plants to customers in the European Union, in fact, orders from EU customers will be prioritised just in case we are unable to ship orders after 31st December 2020 due to the UK leaving the EU. This year, Royal Mail, DPD and Parcelforce will be our preferred couriers for UK and EU deliveries. If your order is coming by DPD, you will receive a 1 hour delivery window via text or email, allowing you to track the parcel's progress on a map.
If you see the plant you want is out of stock, or we're not offering it this year, it may be available in the Seed Shop. Unfortunately, we can't sell plants to customers outside the EU but can still sell seeds.
Lastly, in an effort to reduce our use of non-recyclable black plastic pots, we are phasing out their use and replacing them with recyclable grey plastic pots. Very soon, we hope to be using ONLY recyclable pots.
We do hope you will find something of interest and wish to thank you for your continued support - it means a lot to us!

All our best wishes,
Lisa & Andrew "

"Hurry to order before Christmas!
The holiday season is approaching and we are still taking orders through our website.
For all UK, European and Worldwide customers who want plants and seeds to arrive before Christmas, the last date for orders will be Sunday 13th December. These will be processed and shipped within 7 days. Orders made after this date will not be dispatched until Wednesday 6th January 2021.

Of course, during the holidays the website will still take orders and we can answer any enquiries.

Finally, thank you for all the orders we've had since autumn, especially from our friends in Europe.

"More plants added to our catalogue!
We've just updated our Plant Catalogue with some new additions and restocked our most popular items.
Our catalogue now includes rare items that some customers have been patiently waiting for. Some are limited in number and a few are limited to one per customer.

Thank you for all the orders we've had since the end of April. We'll be keeping our Plant Shop open until the end of June, after which we'll be concentrating on growing more rare and exciting plants for next year's catalogue.

Our Summer seed sale starts today!
All last season's seeds are discounted, many are reduced by 50%. Hurry while stocks last! Sale closes at midnight on Sunday 26th June.

Link to the  Growild Seed Shop   https://www.growildnursery.co.uk/store/c2/Seed_Catalogue.html

Please remember to keep checking back as we are now adding more freshly collected seed to our Seed Shop and will continue to harvest seed regularly throughout the summer and autumn. For instance, in our 'Seeds Just In' page we have added fresh seeds of Tiarella polyphylla W/O-9029 (above), a beautiful pink form of the species.

Orders for plants will be dispatched within 1 to 3 weeks, orders for seeds within 1 week. We continue to sell seeds to customers in Northern Ireland, the E.U. and worldwide.
Happy growing!

Growild have a  bare-root plant offer until 12th March - see here:
https://www.growildnursery.co.uk/store/c23/Plants_Just_In.html

" Plants for sale now!
WE ARE NOW OFFERING A SELECTION OF BARE ROOT PLANTS FOR SALE. THESE ARE FOR A LIMITED TIME ONLY. THE LAST DATE TO ORDER FROM THIS LIST IS SUNDAY 12th MARCH.
We have good numbers of most plants but, as we grow everything from scratch ourselves, some plants are very limited in number and a few are limited to one per customer.

Our delivery rate for bare root plants is a special flat rate of £5.99 (no matter how big or small your order). We cannot hold back orders for customers as plants need to be dispatched as soon as possible while they are still dormant. Please do not ask for multiple orders to be combined - these will have to be sent separately. Seeds can be combined in any plant order as long as they are ordered at the same time. Plant orders will be sent by Royal Mail 24 hour, tracked service.

We have gathered together all the plants on one page HERE in 'Plants Just In'.
PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING!

The majority of the bare rooted plants we have here for sale are specialist plants and are intended for more experienced growers - though they are easily growable they just require a little more aftercare than potted plants do upon receipt. We advise that they are unpacked and potted up immediately on receipt, then kept in a frost free place until all frosts have passed before planting out.

Bare root plants are wrapped in damp tissue or newspaper and packed inside sealed, compostable bags. All our packaging materials are fully recyclable.

Plants can only be purchased by customers in Scotland, England, Wales and Isle of Man. We regret that we no longer accept plant orders from Northern Ireland, Channel Islands and the EU but we can still send seeds.

All of our plants are grown by us from seed, cuttings or division and and all have proven to be hardy here in rural, southern Scotland (unless the description says otherwise).

We will have a different selection of potted plants available from late April through to June.

Until then, we do hope you will find something of interest and wish to thank you for your continued support - it means a lot to us!

All our best wishes,
Lisa & Andrew "

News from Growild:
"Good news to all our friends in Northern Ireland! From next spring we will be able to send plants again without the bureaucratic nightmare and phytosanitary certificate. It seems too good to be true at present, but from what we've been told today from our plant health inspectors, we just need a slightly different Plant Passport that will be on the outside of any parcel. We wish this rang true for the rest of the EU!"
