Bulb Log 10 of 2015
« on: March 11, 2015, 04:03:41 PM »

Bulb Log 10 of 2015 is online : http://www.srgc.org.uk/logs/logdir/2015Mar111426071102BULB_LOG_1015.pdf

This  Bulb Log  includes Ian's review of the "Flora of the Silk Road" - a book that I agree with him is one of the best books we've seen for ages!

Trillium ovatum maculosum :o

Any chance there is an extra for sacrificial DNA work? Just need the stem, not the rhizome, for a voucher and we'll use a sepal for DNA extraction! I'll ask some west coast NA people too, but so far no luck after three years.

It's great to see your garden Ian & Maggi.
All your beautiful plants in turn taking the stage, performing their hearts out & then quietly slipping into the background as others sparkle & thrill us.
I love the Bulb Log.
So professionally presented too.

Aaron as much as I am sympathetic to you plea my priority this year has to be to get seed. I do have at least three other seedlings of the same age in that bed and I am waiting for them to appear so there may be a chance for you there. Also can you work with older material once I have collected the seed? That would be a win win situation.

Thank you for your support and encouragement Mike it means a lot to me.
