Tübingen Botanic Garden

Last Tuesday we visited Tübingen to catch a glimpse of spring. Galanthus, Leucojum, Hepatica,
Primula and other "Early Birds" gave a nice diplay. Symplocarpus foetidus started to flower, but
the highlight for us were the Dionysias and the Vireya Rhododendrons under glass.
This Primula juliae origins from the classic location Lagodechi in Georgia/Caucasus.
Thanks to Michael Mauser and Bernd Junginger for the friendly guidance.

Fantastic to see everything in flower. It's amazing what they have achieved in such a short time. They were recently featured on a German TV gardening programme, shame that never seems to happen here. Michael, Brigitte and Alexandra deserve a huge amount of praise for starting their Dionysia house project.

Many of us have great respect for the Tübingen Team - so it is really good to have these updates from Rudi.
