Corrado,  You must register and activate a seed account before you can order.  Please read the notes carefully, I am sure you will find it simple when you follow the notes.

Wwhen you have registered once the account must then be activated - you cannot register again.

I see you have registered now -  and activated your account - so now you  Log In to make your seed request. I have just tested it - it works!

All you seedy people will be pleased to know that the seed exchange was set up today in Castle Douglas, with 13 volunteers moving tables, trays and boxes into place, then making sure that all the seed was set out in the correct order. The new helpers were trained this afternoon in the fine details needed when seed picking. Tomorrow will be our first full day of picking orders. I would include a photo, but I left my camera at home!

Well done Folks!  Hope the weather stays reasonable to aid your efforts - dry days to go back and forth are  much more cheering.
Have you got a big enough stock of tea and cake to get you through the task? I hope so!

Here's hoping we get them all done and dusted well in the end!

All the best,

 Maggi

Just to remind you all that the deadline for the Seed Team to receive your seed requests is tomorrow - 15th January.
Also  a reminder that  you are asked NOT to enquire after  the whereabouts of your seed until AFTER 15th February.

N. B.

It is clearly stated in the SRGC seedlist   paper notes and  online that the distribution will not begin until January.  Donors will have their  requests attended to first, followed in turn by other requests for main allocations.  Surplus seed request will not be  picked until all main allocations have been filled.

To quote from the  printed seedlist :

Distribution of seed starts in January, first for donors’ main requests, then for non-donors’, and finally for surplus seed applications.
Main requests will be sent out in January, but surplus requests will be processed only after all main orders have been fulfilled. Main and surplus requests will therefore arrive some time apart.
US members must send all their necessary paperwork with the request form (see centrefold page i) unless this was sent with your seed donation.

and the online  pages :

SEED DISTRIBUTION: EARLY 2016

The South-West Scotland Group will manage the distribution again in 2015-16. Full details of the arrangements for ordering seed will be included in the seed list and on the website. Seed requests must reach the Seed Request Manager, Neil McNulty, by the deadline of 15 January. The seed distribution will begin in early January and all main requests will be sent out by late January.

Donors’ seed requests are completed first, then non-donors in order of their arrival date followed by surplus seed requests. This means that main and surplus requests are sent out separately and may arrive a few weeks apart. The whole distribution should be completed by the end of January.

Please allow for delays in the postal system before enquiring about the whereabouts of your seed.
Please wait until after 15th February; after when queries should be addressed to Neil McNulty.

Contact details are in the web pages of course.

After all the terrible weather and flooding there has been all over the UK recently it is  wonderful that the Seed Team have succeeded today in getting the seed picking  equipment  set up, ready to begin that process.

They are better employed in the next few weeks  concentrating on picking and sending seeds rather than checking up  for orders yet to be made or en route to members.  :)

Before the deadline arrives - I suggest that those of you who ordered online return to your  seed page to ensure that you have fully completed and paid for your requests.  Every year there are some members who have forgotten to  complete the process!

If all has gone though to completion you will see a summary below your  seed request which looks like this :

Member Number: 100999
First Name: Cecil
Surname: Hislop
Address 1:  267 Acacia Drive
Address 2: Banbury
City: Rockville
County: Angus
Country: United Kingdom
Post Code: DD34 6 HG
Order Cost: £25
Order Stage: 2
SRGC Order Reference: seed1009991448963324
SagePay Transaction Code: 1976082255

It is the order stage 2  you are looking for if you made your full order online.

My seeds have arrived this morning,  all but 2 of my first choice and they were 'makeweights'!  Thank you to all the teams involved at all stages. As a donor, packeter and (sometime) helper with the distribution, I know the amount of effort that goes into it. Particular thanks to those of you who take responsibility for the various stages - an altogether more onerous task than just being a 'helper'.

My seed order arrived this morning, I did really well, I recieved most of my first choices and a few second choices. I have put a big bag of seed compost in the greenhouse to warm up in readiness for the weekend. Many thanks to Carolyn and the team for a great job.

Arrived safely here too and I was most amused to receive back a packet of seed that I had packeted myself. I thought - that hand looks a lot like my own writing, and it was!  :D
